Job Overview/Summary

Lead the PSO Resource Planning efforts for Division/Multiple SBU’s. Projects and plans will encompass all types of projects and will be managed within the defined system and processes – Innovation, Strategic, Cost, Supply, Customization, Capital and Brand Maintenance. Contribute as a key member of the team to further develop, improve and expand the Resource Planning processes and system.
Responsible for ensuring that short term and long term resource needs are identified and appropriately allocated within SBU and Functional Service Level Agreements. Support of annual project plan execution through project specific resource clarification, resource pool analysis and funding/project adjustment recommendations. Support for Resource Planning processes and system governance related activities including metrics and reporting. Perform ongoing Resource Planning system administrative responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

Plan for long range resource needs based on Business and Functional Long Range Plans (LRPs) and develop detailed annual resource plans to support the Business and Functional Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Act as liaison between Resource Managers, Integrators, and Project Managers for resource loading.
Drive continuous improvement in Resource Planning process and system.
Act as COE for Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) tool including; (1) User training, (2) system administration, configuration, and enhancements, (3) establishing best practices, and (4) developing custom reports .
Periodically analyze resource demand vs. capacity. Provide resource loading options to resolve issues and optimize business plans.
Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required

Minimum 5 years of Product Supply related experience.

Strong business and project leadership skills, assertive and diplomatic, self directing, able to manage up and down the organization without authority, willing to hold others accountable.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Proven leadership presence and credibility.
Experience in roles of high level stakeholder/customer management responsibilities.
Experience in designing, implementing and governing process systems.
High level of influence and change management skills.
A broad Product Supply Functional knowledge
Broad industry experience with a preference for Consumer Packaged Goods
Knowledgeable in stage gate process and Project management practices
Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree, College Diploma, or Equivalent
