Job Summary: The Patient Access Performance Specialist is responsible for analyzing information related to Patient Access areas that measure performance and productivity. Examples:. contact center performance, registration integrity and accuracy, clinical appeals and denials, precertification, and other metrics as assigned. Supports, organizes, and coordinates multiple aspects of data gathering, analysis, synthesis, and information distribution. Acts as subject matter expert for departmental technology tools, and in doing so works closely with I/S, the Epic team and Enterprise Analytics. Ability to lead and manage small and large projects independently. Consistently meet deadlines. Must possess knowledge of and experience with front end data reporting systems, be proficient using Microsoft Excel. Provide Superior customer service support (internal/external customers). Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written/verbal).
Reporting/Analytical experience preferred.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, Data Analytics, performance or productivity reporting, or related field required. Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EMR scheduling systems, scheduling protocols and procedures and work flow designs. Experience working with call center/contact center technology solutions: specifically phone, IM, webchat, portal applications.
