To produce and provide project support and oversight of tasks that involve electronic and web communications (emails, social media and maintenance of web pages) for career exploration and development or another career unit on campus while ensuring University brand standards are utilized. Reports to designated supervisor.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Write various promotional content ranging from news and events to feature content.
Order graphic collateral for print mediums including newsletters and other recruitment/retention collateral.
Ensure website and design elements meet all University standards.
Perform website maintenance, including photo and content updates.
Review website for dated material and work with content providers to add or delete content.
Manage and maintain digital photo library.
Maintain web calendar by posting campus events via appropriate system.
Coordinate production of multimedia including slideshows, maps and video clips.
Oversee social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and work with content providers to create ongoing calendar for posts; posts content.
Produce analytic reports and charts on web traffic, social media traffic and email results.
Assist with web development needs for implementation of marketing/recruitment campaigns; specific landing pages, etc.
May supervise students as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Examples of Duties – if applicable:
Associate's degree in visual communications, graphic design or relevant field. Three months experience with Content Management Systems, website maintenance, Microsoft applications, web-based communications and design.

Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:
Bachelor's degree in visual communication design or related field.
Experience in higher education.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
Must pass a security check.
