Business Development Coordinator

Reports to: Partner – Vice President of Business Development

Description: We seek an individual that will assist in the coordination and execution of the firm’s long-term business development goals. The Business Development Coordinator will provide sales and administrative support to the business development team. As an integral member of the firm’s marketing department, you will work collaboratively with the business development and marketing team, as well as members of the leadership team, to promote the company to clients, the media and in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the business development database.
  • Coordinate and execute all RFP response submissions
  • Assist in the development and tracking of legal contracts for all projects
  • Maintain CRM system to track leads and sales opportunities, provide weekly reports on activities, status and accomplishments
  • Attend internal business development meetings and keep detailed notes, updating Salesforce and additional tracking systems
  • Research regarding existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and market trends/opportunities
  • Create, write/edit and produce submittals

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Ensure confidentiality of all the firm and client’s documentation and information
  • 2+ years of experience in business development or sales (hospitality or design firm background preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM program preferred
