Full Job Description
You LOVE working with data, as demonstrated by your great math, data entry and report writing skills. You’ve had experience maintaining databases and understand the need for meticulous attention to detail and process. Excel and Access come easily to you and playing around with different report configurations is fun for you! You have exceptional problem solving skills and respect the importance of following established processes.
This role provides you an opportunity to use all of your skills to validate big winners, research player trends and assist with investigations. You’ll learn from knowledgeable and professional colleagues and gain insight into how the Lottery ensures integrity and fairness.

Provides reporting and analysis by preparing, downloading, and compiling data to identify trends for potential deviations in data
Supports Investigations and Customer Services by analyzing and reporting on data that has suspicious activity and performs analysis on problem claims
Supports Validations by verifying winning tickets, processing ticket verifications, retailer adjustments, and other requests from Prize Validation and Customer Service daily and reviewing hold requests placed on tickets and releases tickets for payment after thorough investigation
Conducts Lucke Reward and Second Chance drawings and processes winners
Performs systems administrator functions by resetting user accounts and passwords
Conducts ticket reconstructions per the requests of Prize Validation and Security Investigations Manager and processes reconstruction requests results
Some college education and 1 year of experience
Knowledge of general office procedures and protocols
Ability to use analytical judgment and decision-making skills
Advanced skills and understanding of Microsoft Excel and Access Database, including the ability to create macros through recording or writing VBA code
Ability to automate using several available tools for reporting
Hiring Range: $41,040.45 (this non-exempt position will be filled at or near posted salary)
