Position Title: Director of Public Relations
Reports To: Chief Development Officer
Position Purpose: To assume all duties surrounding the agency’s brand through a strategic coordinated marketing effort
Essential Functions:
Website & Social Media Management
Create, curate, and manage social media content, including text, audio, visual and multimedia formats
Create, curate, and manage website content, including text, audio, visual and multimedia formats
Oversee all public engagement content
Stay informed of HIV-related trends to share on relevant channels
Recruit and increase followers on social media channels and viewers on the website
Track usage rates and audience demographics (SEO, cost per click, etc.)
Engage users with prompt responses, solicit feedback, and cultivate relationships
Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy, and innovation to stay relevant and effective
Attend agency events to capture content for the website, social media, and other promotional pieces
Manage social media and website efforts for all branded fundraising opportunities (i.e., Dining Out for Life) in collaboration with the Chief Development Officer
Marketing Plan Development & Implementation
Create comprehensive marketing plans to boost brand image, increase engagement, and improve conversions
Develop relationships with local media outlets to facilitate routine press releases on the agency’s upcoming events and notable activities
Develop and implement a plan to promote the agency and general HIV awareness
Develop and manage system to track and recognize donors
Ensure that all paid advertisements are coordinated and beneficial to the agency
Assist in the promotion of all agency-wide events in collaboration with relevant departments
Resource Development & Management
Oversee the design, production, and distribution of display materials and marketing materials (swag) in collaboration with relevant departments
Ensure that all marketing materials are standardized across the agency
Develop program and impact reports, as necessary
Design and distribute monthly newsletters to agency staff, the Board of Directors, and stakeholders
Design and distribute a yearly annual report
Design themed event materials (i.e., Sunset Supper posters)
Maintain a file of various FHHS logos to provide upon request
Ensure the maintenance of stock of FHHS-related print materials (i.e., letterhead, envelopes) and to complete orders as requested by department heads (i.e., order of Sunset Supper materials, rack cards)
Other
Travel consistently to various FHHS locations to participate in events, gather content from staff, etc.
Assist with design and decoration for community-based events (i.e., Tinsel Trail, Bunny Trail)
Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
