This job posting is for a Scheduler/Planner, Production with a pay range of $17.60/hour to $26.44 /hour plus shift differential and progressive pay increases. Duties and Responsibilities:
Create/Monitor/Communicate the daily production schedule for assigned production areas to ensure that production plans occur as planned.
Create effective production schedule that satisfies customer demands and aligns with department capabilities.
Directly assess production activities to ensure the schedule is being followed.
Communicate with all levels of employees in the facility on a regular basis.
Proper inventory levels for all items maintained
Effectively communicate production schedules to personnel in sales, customer service, managers and supervisors
Knowledge and Experience: Briefly describe the knowledge, skills, demonstrated behaviors and experience required for entry into the position/role.
College Degree or Minimum of 5 years in Operations or Scheduling/Purchasing experience recommended
Proficient understanding & knowledge of inventory control and MRP systems
QAD experience preferred
Experience using Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, and advanced cell formulas
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to influence others without being in a role of authority
