We are searching for inspired-energetic culinary professionals for our restaurant locations at Mediterraneo of White Plains NY and Terra Restaurant Greenwich, CT. We operate 8 restaurants in Fairfield, CT and Westchester, NY Counties.

Well-established restaurant group - seeking motivated and qualified individuals who have passion for fine dining and well-executed food.

Our restaurants are hand crafted, distinctive and our restaurants strive to distinguish itself for warm hospitality and consistent excellence. The Sous Chef will be expected to cook very well in a high-volume environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assists in coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of various food items.

  • Ability to butcher meats and whole fish
  • Expedite and cook on the line during lunch and dinner service
  • Create daily specials and input for seasonal menu changes
  • Lead, manage, and motivate kitchen team
  • Manage daily food ordering and labor control
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
