Summary: Under limited supervision, provides oversight of the Cobb & Douglas Public Health WIC Program related to program
development, planning, auditing, supervision and education of staff. This position sets and maintains standards for nutrition and clerical
services according to state and federal WIC guidelines. The position also contributes to the annual plan for the WIC Program and sets
goals for the balanced scorecard process in WIC. Directly supervises 3 clinic managers. Manages the entire WIC Program in the
absence of the Nutrition Services Director.This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND four years’ experience related to the area of assignment.
Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provide the knowledge, experience, and competencies
required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Four years of nutrition experience, two of which were in a management capacity or master’s degree in
nutrition, dietetics or a closely related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant computer software. Supervisory
experience, and the ability to prepare reports. Effective oral and written communication skills. Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred but
Salary Information: $56,000 Annually/ Pay Grade L
