You are an energetic, detail-oriented taskmaster who thrives on organization and getting things done! We are a growing construction company in Rockville, MD seeking a talented candidate to fill our part-time onsite Bookkeeper position. We are looking for someone with a basic accounting background to assist with daily Quickbooks accounting entries and general accounting support.

Compensation: depending on experience

Responsibilities:
Be in the office for a couple hours at least 3 days/week to process daily accounting tasks
Manage Accounts Receivable: deposit checks, receive customer payments
Manage Accounts Payable: process mail, pay invoices, collect new vendor paperwork and set up new vendor accounts in Quickbooks
Review and code weekly credit card charges from the team, reconcile monthly statements
Review time sheets and process biweekly payroll
Reporting and miscellaneous accounting tasks

Qualifications:

Familiarity with Quickbooks accounting software

Familiarity with real estate industry a plus

Attention to detail and ability to keep a lot of information highly organized

Strong computer skills (Google Suite, MS Office, etc.)
