As an entry level Product Manager your duties will include the ongoing maintenance to assigned product lines under the direction of the Sr. Product Manager in support of product needs to resolve customer inquiries, purchasing/planning needs, engineering engagement, and customer service and sales requirements.
Comparative analysis of competitive product offerings and market pricing will support the department in the preparation of reviews for product line expansion, entry into new markets, needs for product data content, and product line reports and presentations. Comprehensive investigation of existing product lines and support in developing materials to educate our sales force and customers.
Product lifecycle projects for the optimization of ROI will be a key function in support of product line managers. Recommendations for New Product Introduction (NPI) and part end-of-life actions are key functions.
The ideal candidate is a person who can work within an integrated group and can manage multiple activities. This person must be detailed, action, solution and results oriented.
Extensive use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access will be required to properly prepare comprehensive spreadsheets and database reports.
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Three years related experience in Automotive Aftermarket or similar field is ideal.
Experience with product management and design principles.
