Your Role and Responsibilities

At IBM Research, we invent what’s next. We are seeking a digital content producer and video specialist to help create innovative and compelling content that showcases the innovation IBM Research is leading with our collaborators and clients. This is a hands-on role for content creators who have up-to-date experience in taking a project from concept to filming to editing to finished project on their own.
Our ideal team member will be an active part of our brainstorming sessions as we originate and develop ideas for how best to present IBM Research’s narrative — and be able to bring those ideas to life by creating videos, animations, photographs and more. They will have a keen interest in video trends, cutting-edge ways of working and social distribution plus expertise in using analytics to deliver effective and valuable content.
In this role, you will work with a broad set of stakeholders to deliver content that takes a variety of forms, yet that always feels grounded in our brand. You will also influence content created in our global labs to ensure the same outcome.
Candidates should excel at:
Working both independently and as part of a high performing, very collaborative team
Generating relevant, timely content
Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines
Collaborating with internal and external experts
Using collaboration tools to work effectively with global and distributed teams
The ideal candidate will be a Content Creator with experience in videography, video editing, photography and motion graphics. Please include a link to your work samples.
This role is located in IBM offices in Yorktown Heights, New York.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of proven video production experience
Advanced knowledge of analytics, trends and how they affect creative opportunities
Ability to concept, research, write to bring ideas to reality
Fluency in digital video branded content trends, digital and social eco-systems
Ability to execute video creative in the field and in the studio
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
12+ years of proven video production experience
