Purpose of Position
This position will provide in-home services for Protective Services clients by developing and implementing interventions with children and families receiving voluntary services to reduce risk and promote the safety of children who have experienced or may be at risk of experiencing child maltreatment.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AGENCY PAYS INDIVIDUALS ON A HIGHER PAY SCALE FOR CASE WORKER POSITIONS THAT REQUIRE A LICENSE.
Master's degree in Social Work, Guidance and Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology or Criminology from an accredited college/university is required for this position and two (2) years of any combination of experience including working with communities, working on health or social service related matters, social work/case management experience, behavioral health and/or health care. Must possess a current license in New Mexico as a Doctoral Level Psychologist, Psychologist Associate, LISW, LMSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC or LMFT or eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results.
Work is performed in an office setting: late hours, weekends, on-call and callback work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Travel is required. Possible exposure to irate clientele. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Incumbent will be required to furnish a personal vehicle for carrying out assignments which may include transporting clients including children. Must have own mode of transportation.
