Help us hack a thirteen trillion dollar industry by building a product that will allow more people than the status quo to own a home and build wealth rather than rent for life. Our tech team is small, and you will be a big part of defining the technical direction and culture. We encourage proposals for projects off the beaten path, experimentation with different frameworks and libraries, and doing as you see fit to solve problems. We're looking for a hands-on Mobile Developer that thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. The things we care about are:
You will be coding and architecting green field user-facing applications from the ground up, so a willingness to blaze the trail as opposed to coming into a fully baked codebase
Product-driven focus and experience working with Product on features and usability
A willingness to dive into how we utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build and release process for mobile apps
A thoughtful approach to cross device testing
Experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment
Ideally some experience in Native iOS or Android development
Experience working with GraphQL is a nice-to-have
Our Engineering org does continuous deployment and we ship code 50-100 times every day
We will launch some green field React Native apps
We use TypeScript and Python for services and while you will not primarily be developing these services, hopefully you can get into the code to understand how they work, if necessary
Since these will be green field apps we will be using the latest and greatest libraries, no outdated cruft
