POSITION DESCRIPTION
Environmental Field Technician / Laborer
- Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards
- Taking an active role on crews by participating in both scheduled and emergency response-based projects
- Assisting in loading of equipment and supplies for project needs
- Being able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbs
- Working in a variety of weather conditions
- The support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:
- Confined Space Entry – CSE
- Environmental remediation
- Waterway response
- Hazardous materials clean up
- Will perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtain
- Basic computer skills
- Must be flexible to changes in work schedule and be available for On-call
- Ability to perform physical labor under direction of crew leads
- Ability to respond to out of town projects as needed
- Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently
- Industry/Construction experience preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record that meets SET insurance guidelines

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
