Previous experience in customer service preferred, but not required.
The ability to use multiple computer applications while talking to clients over the phone.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

Answer call center calls, process requests, and work with customers to resolve issues and answer queries

Maintaining the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude

Demonstrating flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment

Maintaining records and databases

Running database searches, performing quality assurance and reviewing images

Preparing reports

Handling time-sensitive process and sensitive material

Accurate data entry

Document scanning and indexing

Document printing and mailing

Maintaining publications inventories

Taking direction from supervisor

Participating in cross-training

Reliable attendance and punctuality in order to coordinate with integrated services team

Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Education, Skills and Experience

College education -OR- 2+ years of experience preferably in customer service roles.

Above average communication skills; experience and comfort in speaking with customers from a wide variety of backgrounds

Excellent customer focus, attitude, and interpersonal skills

Experience with Microsoft Windows applications

Knowledge and understanding of computers and computer peripheral devices

Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team

Basic accounting and budgeting knowledge, or the capacity to learn

Strong organizational and analytical skills

High attention to detail

Accuracy and thoroughness (technically and ethically)

Flexibility in managing day-to-day workload with the ability to handle unexpected assignments
