Job Role

FICO is hiring HVAC/R Service Technicians to join our team in Helena, MT. We're looking for candidates who are eager, confident, and self-motivated that want to combine technical skills with world-class customer service. Service Technicians are responsible for evaluating and installing equipment for our customers. The primary focus of these systems is HVAC systems and their controls. Responsible for training on the proper use of equipment and presenting options.

Some of the day-to-day activities and responsibilities include:

Provide technical support for customers and co-workers.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and other specifications to determine installation procedures.
Explain and provide detailed system capabilities and operational instructions to customers.
Ensure on-time arrival to daily customer appointments.
Conduct routine maintenance and inventory of company's products and equipment as well as existing equipment.
After hours (on call-evening/weekends) reactive maintenance occurs immediately as needed regardless of the time of day, day of the week or holiday. Building service technicians must be available to our customers to handle their emergency needs any at any time
Travel as necessary and often requires overnight stays

Current valid driver s license and clean driving record.
Place a high value on quality of workmanship, attention to detail and safe work practices for self and others.
Submit to a criminal history check and obtain clearance from the state based on the state requirements.
Must remain smoke-free while on site with customers and while operating FICO vehicles.
Superior customer service skills.
High School diploma required.
Excellent organization/Time management skills.
Experience working with minimal supervision.
Strong ability to diagnose equipment and determine if a repair and maintenance work is needed or not; and ability to keep records of work done, etc.
