The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is responsible for Citi's overall Information Technology strategy. CTO's mission is to optimize Citi's IT environment by driving standardization of the production environment, reducing complexity, optimizing management of systems supporting global functions such as Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management and Finance, and introducing innovative technologies that provide new business capabilities, reduce the technology total cost of ownership, and create a competitive advantage for the firm.
The Enterprise Technology Solutions group within CTO is responsible for Technology development and support for the Global Functions including Finance and Risk Infrastructure.

Position for a Senior Technology Leader, responsible for managing and delivering a range of next generation high-performing technology capabilities, that will enable Citi to deliver on key regulatory commitments through implementation of a robust Global Booking Model Governance Framework. Citi is required to implement a Global automated monitoring solution using high-quality, globally standardized data and validation tool(s) within Citi’s proposed enterprise information architecture, in order to confirm that booking practices occurring in each business across all geographies and all transacted products, adhere to well defined and approved set of product and legal entity parameters. This is a large-scale processing platform that will screen all transactions & accounts across Institutional, Wholesale, Retail and Advisory businesses of Citi on a daily basis to assess compliance with established Booking Principles and report violations for appropriate remediation. It will leverage firm’s standard data repositories, GENESIS contract warehouse and other standard reference data systems to perform daily screening of contracts against documented booking practices.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success leading global development teams to successful delivery of solutions for the enterprise, strong analytical skills, depth of technical expertise across the full software stack, promote technical excellence, and have strong communication skills. The successful candidates must be able to drive strategy for the platform and the organization, partnering well with senior business leaders and senior technology management.

In close coordination with the senior business managers and other technology leaders, direct the implementation of practical, integrated, end-to-end strategic technology capabilities for the program.
Execution of the Booking Model tech program, based on a thorough assessment of specific architectural impacts and requirements and optimally leveraging business, technical and data architecture shared services.
Maximizing portfolio compliance with enterprise and GFTS architecture principles, best practices and standards, and ensuring complete alignment with firm’s IT strategies.
Maximizing technology reuse through leveraging existing data assets, services & frameworks and through development of reusable components where appropriate
Coordination point for externally initiated architecture and technology-related matters related to assigned GFTS portfolios (e.g. infrastructure optimization activities, cross-portfolio information requests, tech mandatory activity support, etc.)


10+ years of technology management and leadership experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on systems architecture experience in a complex, multi-vendor systems environment.
Solid understanding of systems, business, data, and technical architecture disciplines, including exposure to such key methodologies and approaches as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Big Data Analytics, Business Process Management (BPM), data/information modeling, and high-availability/high-performance systems design.
Ability to establish an appropriate business-aligned strategic architecture vision for a major functional area, avoiding undue focus on legacy system improvements and introducing and driving transformational changes where appropriate.
Strong familiarity with both traditional and agile software development lifecycles.
Ability to direct the day-to-day work of a team of senior architect, senior programming leads and programmers.
Ability to establish strong working relationships with business, operations, and technology partners at all levels of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written business and technical communication skills.
