This exciting position has overall responsibility for the Rooms & Food and Beverage Department within the property.

Your day to day
Oversee the day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel staff; assist the General Manager in the development and communication of departmental strategies and goals. Communicate and enforce policies and procedures. Assist General Manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotel which support the overall objectives of the company. Monitor and report variances against budget; and control labor costs and other expenses. The Manager may perform other duties as assigned including serving as Manager on Duty. You must be able to travel to attend workshops, conferences, etc.
What we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field plus 4+ years related experience, including management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Computer programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. ADP/Timesaver experience preferred. Must speak and understand English. Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others orally as well as written format; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects positively on the hotel, the brand and the Company. May be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
