Full Job Description
Provide professional, senior SharePoint administration/Development support and customer service to military and civilian customers at an Enterprise level. The position requires extensive infrastructure skills in the design, packaging, delivery, and support of web infrastructure technologies. The person will be responsible for collecting various business requirements from the customer and design a delivery methodology utilizing SharePoint technologies.
Responsible for developing and executing Content Management strategy on top of SharePoint 2013/2016 infrastructure that includes creating out of the box (OOTB) apps such as sites, lists, document/form libraries, calendars, web parts, and seamlessly integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft products to meet the needs of the customer. Able to perform SharePoint administrative/configuration to leverage taxonomy, site columns, lookups, content types, master pages and page layouts for re-use within sites.
Experience in using Central Administration to administer SharePoint's service applications, services, permissions, and features. Ability to troubleshoot site problems and address site permission issues while adhering to customer policies and guidelines such as technical standards, security, and IT best practices.
Conduct research on emerging standards in support of SharePoint development efforts. Ability to maintain composure and adapt in fast-paced, customer-focused work environment with minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities.
Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Computer Science or MIS, IS, Engineering or related field. One-year related experience can be substituted for one year of education if the degree is required.
One year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for one year of experience up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor's degree in a Software Engineering or Business Information Systems discipline for three years general experience.
Candidate must be able to withstand extreme heat physically.
At least three (3) years' of practical experience working with Windows Server and Active Directory. Understanding of basic security principles and their application to an Active Directory Environment. Expert proficiency in Web design Strong Documentation skills and ability to interact with key customers. Infrastructure/Web Servers/SharePoint Administration. Developing web parts Designing, Maintaining and Administrating SharePoint portals.
This position requires candidates to adhere to DoD 8570.01-M. All candidates are required to maintain at least one (1) baseline certification and one (1) computing environment (CE) certification. The authorized certifications for this job title are listed as follows:
