VDOT seeking a Facilities Manager that is able to lead a team of trades technicians and contractors. As District Facilities Manager, you will plan and direct the activities of the district facilities functions; provide oversight of facilities through the use of hired contractors to perform construction, alterations, maintenance, and major day-to-day repairs to buildings, infrastructure, and facilities; prioritize district facility needs and spending allocations, develop district’s 6-year capitol outlay plan and budget; plan and initiate projects to improve and maintain facilities in a manner consistent with VDOTgoals and available funding; and oversee district security operations.
