Research Scientist Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute government grants and internally funded projects for air monitoring equipment development.
- Lead new product development initiatives and implement upgrades to existing commercial equipment.
Research Scientist Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in Physics/Chemistry or related field
- 5 years of experience in light scattering, atmospheric science, and/or small particulate detection
- Proven experience in leading scientific research projects
- Experience managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams
Research Scientist Bonus Skills:
- Understanding of instrumental analysis techniques
- Knowledge of light scattering phenomena
- Experience with hardware components for air monitoring equipment
- Strong data analysis and statistical skills
- Experience in sensor development and machine learning models
