Cerner’s team in Malvern, PA is growing and currently seeking numerous a Senior Software Engineer. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work with the team in an iterative software development life-cycle (SDLC). You’ll be responsible for the implementation and the completion of new components, services, tools and integration with the existing services. You’ll be accountable that quality applications are developed to meet specified business needs. To do so you must have a thorough understanding of requirements and a deep understanding of software engineering domains. The position requires development primarily in Java, SQL, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, as well as some additional work in Ruby. In this role you should have experience developing in Java and JavaScript and have a deep knowledge of and experience with both the React and/or Spring frameworks and SQL based databases. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related technology field, or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 3 years of engineering work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with one or more of the following technologies: Java, SQL, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ruby, and Rails. In addition, Spring and React frameworks could be used as well as REST and JSON for services work.

Expectations
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
