Summary: Supports the sales of standard wire and cable products to stocking distributors (B2B sales) for an assigned territory by providing excellent customer service.
Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break
Compensation: Hourly employee with 90 day probationary period to permanent – NO commission, NO cold calling, NO generating leads.
3+ years of Inside Sales or Customer Service (Preferred)
Intermediate knowledge of Excel spreadsheets (SUM formula, Insert Rows, Autosize)
Intermediate knowledge of Outlook email
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University
OR Two to three years related experience
OR Equivalent combination of education and experience

Enters customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
Send accurate and timely quotes to customer via email. Understand product variations in order to quote in compliance with customer technical specifications
Communicate and coordinate between the warehouse in your assigned territory (5 US locations total).
Collaborate with National and Regional Sales Managers for your assigned territory. The team is responsible to follow up all sales leads and quotes to gather market feedback.
Inbound and outbound sales calls to existing customers to qualify leads and sell products/services.
Estimates and secure dates of delivery to customer, based on production schedule knowledge and current stock availability.
Identify and consult special order requests and customer requirements
Builds and maintains customer’s relationships.
Familiar with multiple product lines: Copper and Aluminum; jacketing (THHN, XHHW, etc.), industry standards and applications.
Interaction with engineering, production team, and sales management to overcome technical and business objections of customers.
Provides product samples, brochures, and data for potential leads to qualified customers on request.
Investigates and resolves customer problems (RGAs) with production, packaging, length tolerances, and delivery.
Possibility/option to assist Regional Sales Managers attending trade shows or outside customer functions.
Marginal income responsibilities in accordance with the division’s parameters, based on customer, project size, and product line.
Provide optional pricing schemes for best alternatives for both customer and company, understands, explains and submits differences of firm pricing
Post Sales Activities: Gathering QA documentation (test reports, certificates of compliance and certificates of origin), submittal of packing slips, tracking information, delivery requirements and proof of deliveries.
