Entry Level Canvasser

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Canvasser to support our Solar/Photovoltaic team in Austin. The outside sales representative is responsible for generating leads and maintaining business relationships with customers. The outside sales representative should create and maintain a courteous, positive, and professional attitude with clients. Additional duties include qualifying prospects, confirming appointments, and ensuring a high level of communication and service to our customers.

The Day to Day

$1,000 to $2,000/week average starting pay.

What's the day-to-day?

As an Entry Level Canvasser, you sell residential solar directly to homeowners
As an Entry Level Canvasser, you will be prospecting in residential neighborhoods to create new business
Attending 2-3 weekly sales training
Attending 3 weekly company-wide webinars focused on personal development and peak performance
Responsibilities

Develop a knowledge of the benefits of going solar
Properly manage assigned territories to maximize effectiveness
Educate prospects on local, renewable energy solutions
Identify pre-qualified candidates and schedule consultations
Determine customer needs and how we can deliver quality service
Maintain relationships with prospects
Meet regularly with leadership to review sales performance, measure results and set goals
Expand skill sets to deliver strong presentations in the sales environment
Master the full sales process in helping clients go solar
Develop strong relationships with clients to convert them into raving fans
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Demonstrated experience in sales.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents and writes routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees
