Perform daily margining and collateral activities. Work with Treasury staff to ensure that liquidity availability adequately covers potential demands from mark-to-market obligations. Analyze credit ratings and calculate credit thresholds for counterparties. For unrated counterparties, analyze financial statements and generate internal credit ratings. Maintain counterparty creditworthiness models. Develop quantitatively-based models for setting credit limits and calculating credit exposures. Support a variety of other risk activities.
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Statistics or Engineering or equivalent work experience. MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
Minimum experience required of the position
Financial Analyst I: 0-2 years of business experience in risk, finance or related field.
Financial Analyst II: 2-4 years of business experience in risk, finance or related field.
Financial Analyst III: 3-5 years of business experience in risk, finance or related field.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to work within a team environment and with minimal supervision. Ability to analyze problems and create solutions. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple time sensitive projects effectively. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to effectively relate with a broad array of personalities coming from a variety of corporate cultures.
