Our client is looking for a candidate with excellent Excel skills and attention to detail familiar with reconciling monthly accounts, balance sheets, resolving billing issues, and collection reports to ensure quality monthly data. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver willing to dig deep and resolve and discrepancies. The salary range is $40,000 to $50,000 annually, based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with providing collection reports and reconciling accounts monthly with responsibility for assigned accounts
Assist with preparing and resolving workplace products, monthly self-bills and audits: reconciling accounts, researching and resolving reconciling items, act as back up to ensure accounts are properly funded
Act as back up to ensure proper accounting for receipts and prepare journals; provide a system to properly pay vendors based upon the receipts
Responsible for preparing monthly profitability management reports.
Assist with providing management reports and client requests as requested
Reconcile bills against receipts from client and employees monthly.
Responsible for ensuring that bills are paid timely, provide initial review to capture and communicate variances for prompt resolution
Audit bills monthly
Work with other departments to investigate and resolved discrepancies in client billing monthly
Maintain management reports for management plans or for journal entries.
Responsible for integrity of data used to compile self bills, and for maintenance of self bill reporting
Ensure quality monthly data for use in audits: enrollment, actual collections, system data for collections
Communicate and summarize audit findings for reporting and to enable other departments to resolve timely
Education, Training and Experience Required:
Associate s degree from a two year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Four years of related technical experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field, including payroll accounting and core operational accounting systems experience.
Must be able to proficiently operate Windows PC with MS Office and MS Outlook
Familiar use with HRIS and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Agility - Ability to move easily between work priorities and tasks to meet deadlines
