The Sr. Strategy & Operations Manager will be part of StubHub Paid Search leadership team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Paid Search. This team is responsible for sizeable revenue and operating income for company, and is pivotal to the growth marketing. This position will be key to drive growth strategy and operations for search marketing, including setting StubHub’s global search strategy, driving global operations, and advancing paid search capabilities.

We are looking for a passionate digital leader with experience in management consulting. This talented professional must have knowledge and passion for emerging digital marketing strategies and tactics; social, mobile & digital media technologies; and an understanding of their convergence. In particular, this senior team member will drive the global strategy & operations of an integrated search execution and lead breakthrough programs to enable Global growth. The person in this role will have substantial interaction with CMO and executive leadership team, and will be viewed as intellectual capital, structured problem solver, and stellar executive communicator.

LOCATION: Sr. Strategy & Operations Manager is based in San Francisco, CA

Drive global strategy & operations for Paid Search Marketing to facilitate revenue and operating income growth. As a senior member of the Paid Search team, you will:

Partner with business leaders and external partners to define global strategy and manage global operations of search marketing and associated initiative(s) to support clear business objectives
Develop execution strategies that address business requirements and engage appropriate cross-functional teams to deliver right outcomes
Drive performance management for quarterly and monthly business reviews with executive leadership team, leveraging consistent dashboards for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Oversee strategic initiative to expand search knowhow of broader marketing community via focused best practice sharing, thought-leadership sessions by industry leaders, and training
Partner with portfolio management and cross-functional teams to define search execution model, including account structure, guidelines, refresh cycle, etc.
Be a change agent to drive agile business execution, ROI driven accountability and cross-functional collaboration
Lead governance, reporting, communications, and operational activities for Global Search Marketing
Be fiercely competitive and embrace the sense of business urgency, creativity, and curiosity to be best in class

MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience
Typically requires 7-10 years of experience with 4-8 years of experience in management consulting and/or strategic planning coupled with experience in the technology industry
Expertise in the digital marketing space, including marketing leveraging media, social and mobile
Superior project management skills with ability to structure, prioritize and management multiple projects with minimal direction
Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
Expert knowledge of measurement frameworks and performance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), coupled with strong aptitude to perform deep-dive analytics
Proven track record in delivering strategic recommendations based on data insights
Supreme work ethic, strong attention to detail and proven problem-solving abilities
Strong business and financial acumen
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence
Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and analytics modeling
Love it if you also know performance marketing or analytics tools, such as Google AdWords, DoubleClick Suite, Adobe Analytics (aka Omniture)
Passion for live events - sports/concert/entertainment enthusiast a plus
