HPY is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a successful National Litigation Team. The successful candidate will provide support to 4-8 attorneys by conducting extensive case research, preparing detailed reports, memoranda and drafting legal documents under attorney supervision.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills necessary in order to maintain effective relationships with partners, attorneys, clients and staff in person, by email and by telephone.
Case management involving maintaining document control, calendaring docket deadlines and filing
Preparation and organization of a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.
Maintain attorney and case calendars
Mailings and filings
Preparation for depositions, and deposition/medical summaries
Cite checking of briefs regarding fact and legal citations
Assist with preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, objections and appellate briefs, including organizing exhibits and appendices.
Handles discovery requests for information from legal counsel
Preparation for hearings
Required Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of experience as a paralegal
Trial paralegal experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of the law and legal procedures
Associate Degree/ Certification in Paralegal Studies preferred
Strong Outlook skills and proficient in MS Office suite
