Responsibilities:

Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators

Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums, and plan administration

Maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes

Generate and analyze reports as required

Conduct verification of monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies, reconciling with employee elections in the HRIS

Compile employee data, process monthly billings, and prepare check requests for payment of administration fees for all group plans. Work with accounting department as required.

Maintain compliance under HIPAA

Support Administration of open enrollment

ACA administration

Handle benefits processing, enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, and accident and death claims.

Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files and maintain group benefits database

Upload new hire enrollment files for HSA’s as needed
-
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers and as needed, act as a contact for benefits related questions

Support the management of the HRIS benefit portal, audit for accuracy and process applicable changes as needed. Ensure benefit changes and related premium adjustments are documented and communicated to payroll.

Collaborate with the HRIS, payroll team, and other internal partners to ensure benefits payments, deductions, and contributions are processed timely and accurately

Work with vendors and brokers to resolve escalated claims and customer service issues as needed

Distribute materials for benefits orientation and open enrollment

FMLA, ADA, and LOA administration

STD, LTD, and life claims administration

Provide back-up support for conducting benefits portion of orientation and explain the benefits self-enrollment system, as well as special benefits orientation
Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or GED required
-
Minimum of three (3) years of benefits administration experience

Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Employee Benefits system preferred

Applicant must have strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent written and oral communications skills.
