Required Skills:
Conduct all source intelligence analysis and modeling to support NCMI's CBRN mission (NCMI-4).
Develop models to estimate and forecast health threats resulting from chemical/radiological and nuclear release events.
Collaborate with NCMI/DIA/IC intelligence analysts to develop chemical/radiological/nuclear modeling release scenarios and create appropriate modeling parameters/source terms.
Develop or modify numerical algorithms/coding for dispersion modeling programs and associated post-processing analysis using scientific computing programming languages such as C, C++, FORTRAN90.
Process modeling calculations and operations through remote access use of high performance computing (HPC) systems, to include writing and executing UNIX shell scripts (ie. BASH, C-Shell, perl and python).
Navigate and perform basic file system operations using Linus operating systems and visualization tools.
Manipulate and build large historical climatology datasets and generate climatology grids.
Mine various large datasets such as toxicity, physical properties and climatology datasets and conduct cross-domain transfers between unclassified and classified networks and systems.
Contribute to graphics development and visualization of modeling outputs of forecasted hazard areas/health effects.
Integrate modeling outputs into intelligence production on new and emerging chemical/radiological health hazards in the operational environment.
