Job description for Class A CDL Driver:
The Class A CDL truck driver will be responsible for driving a dump truck to haul asphalt and deliver equipment to construction sites. The CDL truck driver will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle and securing trailer and equipment. Attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently is a priority as a Class A CDL truck driver.
Qualifications for a CDL Class A Truck Driver:
Able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious;
Have 3 years’ experience with permitted loads and have a valid Class A CDL license;
No restrictions (i.e. automatic restriction)
Have current DOT medical card;
Knowledge of DOT regulations;
Must be able to take both oral and written orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and managers;
Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others;
Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties;
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, background check, and acceptable driving history which will be determined at the sole discretion of the Company.
