Consumer Services Representative

T3 is a leading manufacturer and marketer of premium hair styling tools sold at prestige beauty retailers (Sephora, Bloomingdale’s, ULTA, and Nordstrom) on TV, professionally and throughout the world. Using proprietary technology and innovative designs, T3 hair tools are used and endorsed by the most in-demand celebrity hair stylists and coveted by beauty addicts the world over – from fashion and beauty editors, to A-list stars, to everyday women alike. The company is innovative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial in spirit. To continue its strong growth, T3 is looking for a Consumer Services Representative.

As a CS Representative, you will be responsible for acting as a liaison between the consumers and T3, handling a high volume of calls with varying degrees of questions or concerns, providing product information, assisting with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, cancellations, and other inquiries. The responsibilities will also include responding to and investigating consumer inquiries, warranty claims, product recall claims, and issues in a timely manner via phone, fax, online form and e-mail in a courteous and professional manner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain working knowledge of products
  • Handle phone calls, complaints and inquiries in a professional manner for consumers
  • Assist with the placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.
  • Respond to and investigate all consumer inquiries, warranty claims, product recall claims, concerns, and issues in a timely manner via phone, fax, online form and e-mail in a courteous and professional manner
  • Handle and follow-up on all consumer concerns that demand attention tactfully and promptly
  • Independently resolve consumer support issues and escalate to the management when necessary
  • Perform other projects and duties as needed or as assigned to you by Management
  • Document all contacts, actions, and responses in customer log sheet in an accurate and concise manner
  • Achieve productivity standards and goals set by the company while maintaining high level of customer service
  • Partner with warehouse teams to trouble shoot or obtain status updates for any consumer related issues
  • Provide support for the Customer Services team by responding to questions and/or concerns, and escalating to management as needed
  • Adhere to product safety protocols while in communication with consumers and escalate calls as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service atmosphere
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
  • A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods

Other Information:

  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Work Hours: 9:30am-6:00pm with a 30-minute meal break; You may be required to come in early or stay later when necessary

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
