We are Thorough Bread and Pastry, a local neighborhood bakery who pride ourselves on quality products that we also enjoy. We offer a variety of breads, cakes, sandwiches, coffees, and pastries which we make in house and often with seasonal ingredients.
We are looking to fill a front-of-house position in our bakery. The primary responsibilities include: providing guests with friendly and informative service, maintaining cleanliness and over all appearance of FOH area, accurately handling cash during transactions, and barista duties which include making drinks and cleanliness of the barista area.
Required qualities include, the ability to stand for the full hours of the shift, and a willingness or desire to learn information about our products we create.
Preferred experience include: prior coffee experience, prior cash handling experience, prior cafe or other food industry work, and Food Handlers Certification. While all of these are preferred, we do provide on the job training and would be happy to work with the right candidate new to the industry.
Our staff is not large, we work as a small team and stress mutual respect between everyone. Teamwork is absolutely necessary.
