The CT Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; and maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
This position is full-time, seasonal position (13 week contract with the potential to be extended) and requires the ability to float to all Scripps Health outpatient clinics and hospitals, including Encinitas, La Jolla, Green, San Diego and Chula Vista.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
CT Scanning/Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
Excellent interpersonal skills
BLS from American Heart Association
GE and Siemens scanner experience
Work between all Scripps Health outpatient clinics and five (5) hospital campuses: Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego, and Chula Vista.
ARRT (CT) and Fluoroscopy
At 2 years CT scanning experience in an acute care hospital environment
