POSITION SUMMARY
Receiving and servicing incoming calls from health plan members and providers requesting information about health plan benefits and eligibility.

Fundamental Components:

  • Schedule adherence, quality and dependability are measured toward performance goals.
  • Training in health insurance, Medicaid and call-center environment are provided.
  • Position is full-time, Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (Associate is expected to remain available until all calls are cleared from queue.)

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • Experience with Health Insurance/Medicaid
  • Previous Call Center experience.
  • Computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependability and adherence to daily schedule.
  • Able to interact with customers in a professional and caring manner.

EDUCATION

  • The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience. REQUIRED SKILLS
