Serco is looking for qualified students to participate in our 2020 Summer internship program! Our interns will assist in various areas across the company
You’ll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team. If you’re ready to kickstart your career and build real-world experience with Managers and Directors that have hands on experience then this is the internship for you.
Below are a few day to day operations you might be assiting your team with:
Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information; oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers
Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed
Take notes and memos during meetings; type documents, drafts, and reports; sort and manage files
Manage databases and input information, data, and records
Research and gather documentation on company position in the industry
You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns
Attend company functions and networking events
Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
There are over 15 programs we are looking to hire for next summer. These are some of our programs requirments.
Currently attending a fully acreditied College/University with a current 3.0 GPA
Must be obtain and maintain a DOD sercret level clearance and there for U.S citizenship is required
Resourcefulness in finding information and answers from within and outside the
company without prompting or micromanagement; a “consummate” self starter.
Articulate communication skills – verbal, pictorial and numerical.
Help plan and design business processes and make recommendations for improvement
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics major
Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
