Provides Unleashed Customer Service and assists the Pet Care Department with all tasks relating to the care of birds, reptiles, small animals and fish.
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Delights Pet Parents and helps achieve PetSmart’s DOG strategy that stands for “Delighting our Customers,” “Operating Excellence” and “Growing Services”.
Assists management in receiving live animal shipments.
Identifies known pet illness and contact management for proper course of action.
Assists Pet Parents with questions/information/service regarding the care of fish, birds, reptiles and small animals.
Maintains the pet habitats per policies and procedures.
Provides care for pets including, but not limited to, feeding and cleaning.
Stocks shelves on the retail floor.
Prices merchandise and performs price audits when needed.
Assists in opening and closing duties of the Pet Care Department in accordance to the opening and closing procedures.
Retrieves shopping carts in a timely manner.
Assists and works in other departments as required. Other duties may be assigned.
Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SUCCESS FACTORS
High school diploma or GED is preferred
