Job Description:
At least 2 years of previous work related experience preferred

Associate’s degree in relevant field of study, or equivalent years of related work experience required
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study preferred
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels
Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast paced, frequently changing environment while remaining detailed and organized
Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team once given direction
Maintain the customer perspective as a driving force behind business decisions and activities
Actively participate as a member of a team to propel the team toward the completion of goals
Able to identify opportunities and take action to build strategic relationships between one’s area and other areas, teams, departments, units, or organizations to help achieve business goals
Good ability to analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts to make effective business decisions
Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to; Word and Excel
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties

Regular attendance required

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
Up to 1% travel, overnight stays as needed
Assist Category Manager in all aspects of the Line Review process
Collaborate with the Category Management Team (Buyer, Planner, Replenishment Analyst, Forecast Analyst, ECom merchandiser, and Space Planner) to drive sales, manage inventory, and achieve the financial goals of the department
Contribute to Assortment Planning, Financial Planning and Advertising including, but not limited to, picking items, pricing items, working with allocation team to ensure in-stock, and working with ad team on layouts or features
Prepare monthly advertising recaps for Category Manager
Complete ad proofing and RPM updates as required
Recap and analyze product, category, and store performance on a weekly, monthly, and as needed basis
Shops and recaps competition regularly
Assists with vendor allowance negotiation
Responsible for monthly Impact Area Planning & Execution; tracking in-stocks, and performance of Impact Area prior to and within the month
Partner with Allocation team to execute new store process, Sourcing team on private label development, Space Planning team on POGs, Supplier representatives, DC/Logistics groups on supply chain concerns, and Allocation team on transfers, consolidations, and promotional calendars
Perform size scaling and initiate item definition as needed
Determine initial (What-If) order quantities; responsible for the placement of all bulk orders
Prepare re-orders, fill-ins, and closeout orders as needed
Serve as primary point of contact for store communications
Initiate store task related directives in partnership with Store Operations, including but not limited to; mass returns, special requests, Weekly Tips, and Monthly Overviews
Collect samples for planograms, marketing, eCommerce, and shelf talker images
Initiates all signage requests
Assists with purchase order monitoring and adjustments as needed; weekly review of on order report and follow up with suppliers
Communicates analysis results and recommendations to the Category Management Team Monitor new store performance for adjustments post-opening as needed
Coordinate monthly business reviews with all key suppliers
Schedule vendor meetings and prepare vendor meeting agendas, as needed
Review website to ensure assortment of products is present and accurate; communicate any issues to the eCommerce Merchandiser
Tour Academy stores and conducts market visits as requested
Work with MA team on lists, item, and order maintenance
Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedure, and safety rules

Duties may change; associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned
