Maintains a close and highly responsive working relationship with the day-to-day activities of the Director of Employee Health, Wellness & Safety (EHW&S) and his/her reporting functions. Administratively supports the Employee Health, Wellness & Safety system-wide program and ensures that all administrative functions within the EHW&S program run smoothly.

Develops and supports key projects on behalf of the program, identifies and incorporates crucial data points, creates professional reports, facilitates and/or may present to various audiences throughout the health system.

Performs analysis and provides recommendations for program changes to meet goals and to support the health, wellbeing, and safety of staff. Utilizes office skills, including Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Creates and distributes standardized communication of pre-defined program requirements, staff education, services, and announcements. Maintains current reference for program specific regulations, guidelines, and standards. Coordinates educational themes and program events. Assists with integration, alignment of policy and process, and effective communication for new acquisitions.

Has the ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision. Performs work of a highly confidential nature; makes decisions within the scope of authority; and relieves the administrative and supports coordinating duties of the department. Demonstrates flexibility,

initiative, good judgment, and knowledge of internal and external customers, broad knowledge of organization and company policies and procedures.

Associate or Bachelor degree with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in an administrative, coordinator, analytic, or specialist’s role.
Employee Health, Wellness, Workers Compensation, or Safety Knowledge, and office, program, or project coordination and/or planning is helpful.
Working knowledge of electronic health and HRIS database preferred.
Previous experience with project management and / or development.
