The Human Resources Assistant will partner with the Human Resource, Payroll, and Store Teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Work closely with confidential data within Lawson HRIS, Workbrain, and ADP payroll systems
Partner with US and Canadian stores, Human Resources and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely data and pay entries
Enter and review actions and report issues regarding new hires, terminations, pay changes, taxes, etc. to ensure accuracy for payroll and compliance
Track and log required Human Resource documents from all stores locations
Follow-up with District Managers and Chief Workshop Managers to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Publish Microsoft Excel-based reports weekly and conduct internal audits and proactive compliance audits with E-Verify, Social Security Administration, Form I-9's, etc.
Assist associates with general Human Resource inquiries regarding pay, direct deposits, taxes, rehires, compliance questions, etc.
Assists HR team with other duties and tasks as needed

An Associate Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with a minimum of 1 year of Human Resource administration experience and document compliance is required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
Advanced skills in Excel functions/formulas is required
Must be organized and be able to plan and multi-task
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a keen attention to detail
Experience with HRIS Technology is a plus
