The Operations/Processing Manager oversees a number of activities involving our operations functions. The role is responsible for managing the performance and day to day activities of our operations team in accordance with Branch and Company metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively managing pipeline on a consistent basis and managing/overseeing teams performance to ensure high quality loan files.
Managing work loads and loan files to reduce the number of rush requests needed.
Communicate consistently and effectively with Sales teams to ensure both parties needs are met.
Monitor metrics of team to ensure they are meeting Branch and Company set goals.
Address, Coach and Mentor performance issues including quality and quantity.
Ensure all files are processed in accordance with internal compliance a regulatory laws.
Interview, hire and train new operations/processing staff as needed.
Maintain knowledge of ever changing industry and distributing that information to team members to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
Review and assist in the investigating of any potential fraud issues.
Provide input for overall Company best practices.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Bachelors Degree in Business or similar field preferred. High School Diploma required.
5+ Years of Mortgage Processing/Operations Experience.
3+ Years of Supervisory/Management experience in Mortgage Processing/Operations.
Industry knowledge of Mortgage Lending products including but not limited to Conventional/FHA, VA, regulatory compliance etc.
Position is salary base pay plus bonus. Position typically pays 100K to 150K a year.
