Technology Sales Executive

Position overview:
Responsible for driving sales of the technology infrastructure needed to support Netsmart’s platform solutions for client hosted environments.
Responsible for driving sales of third party solutions which enhance Netsmart’s value proposition by creating additional functionality, enhanced work flows, etc. for our clients’ end users.
Responsible for driving the Software as a service (SaaS)/Remote Hosting Pipeline for Netsmart Technologies
Build strong rapport with our prospective and current clients through frequent visits and calls
Manage complex sales cycles and present to executive decision makers the value of the Netsmart Technologies SaaS/Remote Hosting approach
Educate/partner with the sales organization to maximize client coverage
Achieve and exceed established performance metrics
Help to develop best practices
This is an Overlay Sales position – a sales specialist role

A broad understanding and ability to articulate the technology infrastructure needed to support the implementations of Netsmart platform solutions.
The ability to articulate the benefits of (SaaS)/Remote Hosting
Develop value proposition and benefit to the client
Help to develop best practices within the department
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in
Qualify leads from executive calling program as well as proactive target-based prospects
Understand clients’ business needs and suggest appropriate technology solutions to match those needs
Support and leverage 3rd party vendor partners, Netsmart Sales teams, field marketing efforts, product launches, and product demonstrations
Establish and maintain positive and proactive relationships both internally and externally
Handle multiple functions and priorities with high level of effectiveness
Engage in proactive client initiatives to provide accounts with proper level of service and support

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
5-8 years of work experience

Additional Requirements:
Must be able to demonstrate high level of achievement of at least 5 years of sales experience with channel sales, infrastructure technologies, SaaS/Remote Hosting technology related solutions and services.
Must have solid track record of selling both hardware and hosting solutions
Strong interpersonal skills
