This is a highly visible role that combines content strategy, story-telling, and communications. We’re looking for a world-class writer experienced in many forms of communication from whitepapers to website, emails to executive speeches and someone who can formulate creative strategies to attract our target buyers, differentiate from our competition and position Guidant as an industry thought leader. Our team is made up of smart, creative, collaborative people who work in a fast-paced, roll-up your-sleeves environment. The successful candidate will have experience in technology or finance companies and have the ability to work effectively across functions. As the primary owner of our brand communications, the Content Strategy Manager must possess an obsessive attention to detail and a dogged drive for quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build more efficient, repeatable approaches for content and delivery by channel
Shape content into different forms for different channels, from blogs and social promotion to infographics and eBooks and e-mails
Reporting on top content (blogs, downloads, etc.) and championing content to push low cost leads
Stay fluent and current on fintech business concepts and trends
Manage website content
Plan and execute content strategies for product launches and events
Manage the content pipeline from ideas to placement
Adapt content for social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
Work with freelance writers as an extension of the marketing team
Monitor content metrics to continuously improve content quality, targeting and placement
Potential ghost writing for key executives and working with PR lead to manage communications campaigns.

Proofreading, copy editing and substantial editing - shape and protect the voice of the brand.
Data-driven mindset. Understanding the impact of keyword strategy and SEO and partnering with our digital marketing lead to drive organic growth resulting in new customers.
Dynamic work ethic. In the face of uncertainty and open questions, you have an overwhelming bias for action, creative solutions, and collaborative problem-solving.
Strategic thinking. You can find the sweet spot in a Venn diagram where “solving your customers’ problems” and “solving your company’s problem” intersect.
5+ years writing and content placement
MUST demonstrate writing prowess through examples of their own work
CMS, SEO and website architecture experience highly desired
B2C content marketing role and/or digital media company experience
Knowledge of how to get the most mileage from B2C social channels and trend
