Position Overview:
As a Principal Solutions Architect, Security, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our security strategy. You will be responsible for consulting with customers to understand their unique security needs, designing and developing innovative security services and solutions that align with their business and cybersecurity objectives to protect their critical assets.
Responsibilities:
Customer Consultation:
- Actively engage with customers to understand their security challenges, goals, and risk tolerance.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to address customer security needs.
- Develop proposals, statements of work and responses to RFPs that clearly articulate Arctiq’s abilities to meet our customer’s needs.
Security Architecture:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive security architecture that addresses the customer's risk profile and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to identify security needs and propose solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Security Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to protect the customer's systems, data, and infrastructure.
- Assist clients to ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
Security Governance:
- Establish and maintain security governance frameworks and processes.
- Provide guidance and support to security teams and business units on security matters.
Technical Leadership:
- Mentor and develop junior security professionals.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats, technologies and vendor offerings.
- Contribute to the development of security-related thought leadership and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in security architecture, design, and implementation.
- Proven track record of consulting with customers to solve their security needs.
- Deep understanding of security concepts, principles, and best practices.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of networking, systems administration, and programming.
- Experience with a variety of security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cloud security controls, identity and access management, etc).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
- Experience with cloud security and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR and other leading security technologies.
