Registered Nurse (RN) - Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient
Full-Time – Rotating Shifts

We are looking for talented Inpatient Child Psychiatry Registered Nurses to join our nursing team here at University of Maryland Medical Center.
University of Maryland Medical Center’s Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry has developed a trauma informed, population specific model of care that is grounded in evidence-based practice. Known as the “ARC” model, it focuses on teaching patients skills for emotional regulation and expression, while teaching parents the value of routine, consistency, and positive regard. Based on Blaustein and Kinniburgh’s Treating Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents (2010), unit leadership worked with the authors to develop practical strategies and language to implement the theoretical framework on the unit.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
