Job Description: Paypal Consumer Onboarding team is looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead a team that builds web application that signup millions of new users per year. This is a critical role that brings significant financial impact to Paypal. You will lead a scrum team, consisting of engineers, product owner, UI designer and analyst to build and enhance Paypal Consumer Onboarding experiences. In addition, you will also be responsible for the overall quality of the product and LIVE production support.

Qualifications: 5+ years of experiences in building scalable web applications 3+ years of managing a team of Software Engineers Success in hiring, mentoring, and developing highly effective Software Engineers Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance Solid knowledge of web application frameworks/libraries such as Node.js, Express.js, React.js, Redux, backbone.js, etc Solid experiences with web frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 Experience working cross functionally - partnering closely with design & product teams to craft great user experiences Solid experiences with CD/CI, unit testing and automated functional testing frameworks Good knowledge of restful API Bachelor’s degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field, or equivalent Subsidiary: PayPal Travel Percent: 0 Primary Location: San Jose, California, United States of America Additional Locations: We're a purpose-driven company whose beliefs are the foundation for how we conduct business every day.
