The Sr. Technologist will configure, implement, manage and maintain Active Directory, SQL, Citrix, SAN and VMware environment. This position will also take hands on part in testing and validating various HW configurations best suitable for delivery of our applications
Design, implement, manage and maintain, provide hands-on support to the new and existing clients
Knowledge of implementing and maintaining a virtual server environment using VMware, XenServer
Knowledge of implementing and maintaining physical servers using Windows OS
Responsible for configuring and maintaining Active Directory, AD GPOs, user accounts
Responsible for configuring and maintaining Citrix based environments
Responsible for configuring and maintaining SQL and related components
Coordinating software releases, patching, and monitoring the production environment to ensure systems security and stability.
Experience implementing best practices and standards, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Familiarity with disaster recovery best practices and procedures.
Evaluating business requirements and recommending technical solutions.
Serve as escalation support specialist Adhere to change management policies, standards and procedures
6-8 years of experience within Windows/Citrix environments
Experience with support and administration of environments with high-availability and disaster recovery technologies such as VMware, SQL clustering and replication, SAN Solid networking and an understanding of DNS, TCP/IP Proficient Microsoft GPOs
Maintain appropriate documentation
Ability to follow industry trends and maintain knowledge relating to new and emerging products.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and time management skills.
Excellent researching skills and problem solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required to present detailed or complicated information in an understandable manner.
Position requires traveling for short periods.
Trips will sometimes extend to 5 working days and could on rare occasions extend beyond 5 business days.
