The Associate Director for Learning Strategies and Instruction (LSI) is responsible for providing leadership to all aspects of the LSI functional area of the UCAE including workshops, Personal Academic Consultations, presentations, outreach, and staff supervision and development. He/she also provides support to other initiatives that promote the academic success of students. Additionally, the Associate Director assists the Director with strategic planning and budgeting, and serves in the role of Director as needed.
A Master?s degree is required for this position. The degree should be in higher education, public administration, educational administration, student development, or related areas. A minimum of five (5) years of teaching, training, and supervisory experience in working with college level students in adult education and/or developmental classes and/or learning assistance is required.
