Our Software Engineering Team is designed to architect and solve unique customer challenges – from advanced 3D vision algorithms to SCADA and MES implementations. Interfacing with customers to define system requirements and architect solutions for multiple industries - no day is the same!
Developing software quotes and proposals.
Managing the progression and execution of projects.
Traveling to customer sites for sales, quoting and installation of software.
Understanding and architecting state of the art designs for MES, SCADA, WCS, WMS, MOM, and DCS solutions.
Learning new technology platforms and tools.
5+ years related experience/training and Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year College/University in related engineering field or equivalent
4+ years of architecting and implementing MES, SCADA and data collection solutions
1+ years leading other individuals towards project completion
Technical knowledge of MES and SCADA products, including, but not limited to: Wonderware, WinCC 7, Proficy, Ignition, and FactoryTalk VantagePoint
Proven experience in estimating costs and developing proposals for customer projects
Acted as a primary resource in taking a SCADA system from design to implementation and completion, prefer discrete manufacturing process experience
Experience in leading and managing all aspects of a project, from budgets to technical leadership and personnel to customer and vendor management
Software development and coding, including, but not limited to: C#, .NET, Java, Python
Preferred Additional Experience:
Knowledge of various industrial protocols (OPC, MQTT, REST, SOAP, EtherNET/IP, TCP, Serial, Profinet)
PLC, HMI programming/development
MRP, ERP, WMS, WCS solutions
Acted as a lead engineer in large software initiatives – or equivalent experience
